Taking the [[gondola-saslong]] from Santa Cristina to the Ciampinoi summit provides direct access to the Sellaronda's green (counter-clockwise) circuit. Accessing the orange (clockwise) circuit requires an additional descent and connection.
Quick Facts
Green (Counter-Clockwise) Sellaronda
This is the most direct option. Take the [[gondola-saslong]] to the top of Ciampinoi. From there, follow the green signs and ski down towards Plan de Gralba (piste no. 5 or 6). This will connect you directly onto the counter-clockwise circuit, heading towards Passo Sella.
Orange (Clockwise) Sellaronda
Accessing the orange route is a multi-step process. First, take the [[gondola-saslong]] to Ciampinoi. From the summit, you must ski down into the village of Selva. The main orange circuit starts on the other side of Selva at the [[gondola-dantercepies]]. You will need to walk a short distance through the village to get from the bottom of the Ciampinoi run to the base of the Dantercepies lift.
For the orange (clockwise) route, it's often easier to take a ski bus from Santa Cristina directly to the [[gondola-dantercepies]] in Selva. This avoids the need to ski down from Ciampinoi and cross the town on foot.
